(A) Western blot analysis and (B) summarized data showed that TGR5 protein was successfully overexpressed in FLO cells after transfection with pCDNA3.1-TGR5 (pCDNA-TGR5). (C) Western blot analysis and (D) summarized data showed that overexpression of TGR5 receptor significantly increased TDCA-induced NOX5-S expression, (E) H2O2 production and (F) thymidine incorporation. The data suggest that TDCA-induced increase in NOX5-S expression, H2O2 production and cell proliferation may depend on activation of TGR5 receptor.
