Chronic rosiglitazone treatment for 4 months reduced phosphorylated tau in transgenic mice (J20 line). (a) Representative images of p-tau aggregates in the hippocampus using the AT8 antibody. No p-tau staining was observed in non-transgenic (Non-Tg) mice. Numerous aggregates were observed in saline-treated transgenic mice and a marked reduction was found after Rosiglitazone treatment.
