The MRP RNA–CUGBP–PTB complex is detected in fraction 11. (A) PTB and CUGBP proteins are detected in fractions of a 5–45% glycerol gradient with anti-PTB and anti-CUGBP antibodies, and MRP RNA is detected with Northern blot. (B) Fractions are blotted with anti-Rpp30 and anti-hTERT antibodies. (C) PTB is precipitated from fractions 6/7 and 11, and MRP is detected with RT-PCR. (D) PTB is precipitated from fraction 11, and anti-CUGBP is used to blot. Ten percent of material used in IP was loaded as input.
