HeLa cells transiently transfected with GFP–LC3 were cultured at 37°C for 90 min in Hanks’ solution containing 0.1 µM bafilomycin A1 and analysed by immunofluorescence confocal microscopy using antibody against lamp1 and rhodamine-conjugated second antibody.
