AdN17Rac1 injections decreased MIA PaCa-2 tumor growth in nude mice. The AdN17Rac1group had significantly slower tumor growth when compared to the control and AdEmpty, (p < 0.001, n = 7–8/group). MIA PaCa-2 tumor cells (3 × 106) were delivered subcutaneously into the flank region of nude mice. Controls received serum-free media in similar volumes. 1 × 109 PFUs of the AdN17Rac1 or AdEmpty constructs were delivered to the tumor on day 1, 7, and 14 of the experiment. On day 17 there was a 10-fold decrease in tumor growth in animals receiving the AdN17Rac1 vector when compared to treatment with the AdEmpty control vector.
