The expression of Hsp70 gene in tumor and liver tissue of C57BL/6 mice bearing PDT-treated LLC tumors. Mice with LLC tumors were injected with Photofrin™ (10 mg/kg i.v.), and 24 h later, the tumors were exposed to 630 ± 10 nm light dose of 150 J/cm². The mice were sacrificed at 4, 8, or 24 h after light treatment and their tumor and liver tissues collected for quantitative RT-PCR-based analysis of the expression of the Hsp70 gene. The results are presented as the GAPDH-normalized Hsp70 gene expression relative to that in the same tissue of untreated tumor-bearing mice.
