N.D., not detectable. Dopamine down refers to rats treated to reduce dopamine preferentially; the (+) refers to those rats positive and the (−) refers to those rats negative for SMB. Neonatal 5,7-OHT refers to rats with brain serotonin reduced. Neonatal NE down refers to rats treated to reduce brain norepinephrine. See “Methods” for details.
