Glucose deprivation causes missorting of newly synthesized Pma1. Wild-type cells expressing Pma1-GFP were collected, washed with water, and then resuspended in SC minus uracil with 2% glucose (A), 2% raffinose (B), or 2% raffinose plus 10 μg/ml cycloheximide (C). At various times, cells were harvested for GFP fluorescence (top panels) and DIC imaging (bottom panels).
