Glucose-derived mannose in N-glycans
The cells were dual labeled for 1 h with [6-3H]glucose and [14C]mannose in the medium containing 5 mm glucose and 50 μm mannose. Monosaccharides were analyzed by HPAEC-PAD on a CarboPac PA1 column. The contribution to mannose in glycoproteins from glucose and mannose was calculated. HUVEC, human umbilical vein endothelial cells.
