EpsE point mutants can bind ATP. Average thermal melt temperatures for wild type protein, and EpsE variants with the following mutations, R210A, R225A, R320A, R324A, R336A, R369A, and R156D, in the absence or presence of ATP are shown. Melting temperatures for each protein were assayed at least eight times on two separate days, and the means ± S.E. are presented.
