Whole cell lysates were prepared from Huh-7 cells treated for 4 hours (A) with Veh or PA at 800 μM in presence of the pharmacological GSK-3 inhibitor GSK IX (2 μM), and (C) with Veh or thapsigargin (TG) (450 nM) in the presence of GSK IX (2 μM). (B) Whole cell lysate were prepared from WT Huh-7, shGSK-3α Huh-7 and shGSK-3β Huh-7 treated for 4 and 8 hours with Veh or PA at 800 μM. (A, B and C) Immunoblot analyses were performed for phosphorylated JNK; total JNK was used as a control for protein loading.
