In vitro metabolism of APAP by liver and LNG microsomes from WT and Cyp2a5-null mice

Rates of formation of the major in vitro APAP metabolite, APAP-GSH, were determined. Reaction mixtures contained 100 mM potassium phosphate buffer, pH 7.6, 0.5 mM APAP, 10 mM GSH, 0.5 mg/ml liver or LNG microsomal protein from 2-month-old male mice, and 1.0 mM NADPH. The values presented are means ± S.D. (n = 3).
