Effects of curcumin on concentration of IL-1β (A, D), IL-6 (B, E), and CCL2 (C, F) in sections 2 and 3 of the small intestine of the ApcMin/+ mouse (n = 10/group). Mice were fed a placebo or curcumin diet from 4 to 18 weeks of age. After the treatment period mice were sacrificed and intestinal sections 2 and 3 were removed for analysis of protein concentration of IL-1β, IL-6, and CCL2 using ELISA.
