Reduced myeloperoxidase activity in post ischemic kidneys in mice treated with FasL blocking Ab compared to isotype control Ab. Myeloperoxidase, which was increased at 3 days after IRI in WT compared with nonoperated WT mice, was not different in postischemic kidneys of gld compared with WT, but showed a trend to be lower (P = 0.07; panel A). In the partial chimeric mice, WT mice reconstituted with WT splenocytes showed higher MPO activity compared with other groups after IRI (B).
