Data acquisition for EVE and EDE. For EVE acquisition, the piezoelectric actuator output a 100 µm, Gaussian-shaped perturbation, with sequences of zero displacement before and after the perturbation. The EDE waveform consisted of a 100 µm step displacement. For both waveforms, a trigger signal was output from the actuator controller approximately every 52 µs. The ultrasound scanner saves RF data frames acquired during a trigger reception.
