The Km values were calculated from the observed IC50 value found by non-linear regression analysis of [3H] tyramine uptake competition assays. Data obtained from EM4 cells transiently expressing YFP-DAT. Data are means + SEM of 2–5 experiments performed in duplicate. The SEM interval for each Km value is indicated in brackets and was calculated from the pKI + SEM The calculated Vmax for [3H]tyramine uptake was normalized to the respective control values after normalization for cell density.
