CD82 recruitment to fungal phagosomes is independent of TLR signaling. Immortalized macrophages from myd88^−/− TRIF^−/− mice were lentivirally transduced to express CD82-mRFP1. These APCs were exposed to C. neoformans H99 (A), C. albicans (B), or A. fumigatus (C), and cells that had taken up fungal organisms were imaged.
