Measurement of fibril growth kinetics using QCM. Cross-seeding experiments were performed using (A) Sc seeds or (B) Sp seeds immobilized on the QCM Chip in 50 mm Tris-HCl, pH 8.4, 200 mm NaCl. The linear decline in frequency of the piezoelectric quartz crystal was detected when solutions of ScUre2p (red line) or SpUre2p (black line) were introduced into the flow cell.
