Microcomputed tomography analysis of femurs explanted into WT or Adipo−/− mice for 4 weeks

A microcomputed tomography scan was performed to assess BMD and three-dimensional cortical and trabecular bone architecture of femurs explanted into WT or adiponectin knock-out (Adipo−/−) mice for 4 weeks. The bone volume density (BV/TV), trabecular thickness (Tb.Th), trabecular number (Th.N), trabecular separation (Tb.Sp), and cortical thickness (Ct.Th) were measured. Data are represented as the mean ± S.E. from five individual mice.
