CG-induced paw edema profile in WT and Gal-1−/− mice. A: Paw edema was induced by s.pl injection of 1% lambda CG (50 μl) into the right hind paw of WT (black) and Gal-1−/− (white) mice. The left hind paw received the same volume of saline. Paw volume was assessed by plethysmography and edema calculated as the difference between CG and saline treated paws.
