FKRP expression knockdown in Hepa 1-6 cell line. The given FKRP siRNA synthetic oligos in duplex form were transfected into Hepa 1-6 cells. mRNAs were harvested at 48 hours post-transfection, which was followed by quantitative RT-PCR to determine the level of FKRP transcripts. The transfection of the two most effective, siFKRP2 and siFKRP5, resulted in a 60% to 70% reduction of endogenous FKRP mRNA expression. Furthermore, knockdown efficiency was improved to approximately 80% with co-transfection of both siFKRP2 and siFKRP5 (n = 12, mean ± SD, *P < 0.001, #P < 0.005).
