Effect of vitamin D3 on TGF-β3-induced collage type 1 protein expression in human leiomyoma cells. HuLM cells were serum starved and treated with TGF-β3 (5 ng/ml) with or without increasing concentrations of vitamin D3 (VitD3) (0.1 and 1 μm) for 24 h. Equal amounts of each protein lysate were analyzed by Western blotting using anti-collagen type 1 antibody.
