H&E analysis of cutaneous scar tissue from FMOD-null mice reveals significantly increased scarring. Light microscopy of postoperative day 14 skin wounds in 5- to 6-month-old WT (A–D) and FMOD-null (E–H) mice. Representative scars in descending order from smallest (A and E) to largest (D and H).
