The oxygen-sensing pathway plays a role in papillary renal cell carcinoma (PRCC) pathogenesis. A: Regional gene expression profiles derived from type 1 (P1, n = 22) and type 2 (P2; n = 13) PRCC samples were compared against gene expression profiles derived from nondiseased kidney tissue samples (n = 12).
