V. parahaemolyticus infection regulates c-Fos and c-Jun expression via the ERK1/2 pathway. A, Caco-2 cells were infected with V. parahaemolyticus (+VP) or left uninfected (- VP) for the indicated times. B, Caco-2 cells were treated with inhibitors UO126 (10 μM) or SB203580 (30 μM) for 60 minutes prior to infection. After a 6-hour infection, nuclear extracts were isolated from the infected cells and transcription factor activity and expression level were assayed by Western blotting. A blot representative of those obtained from 3 independent experiments is shown.
