An example of symbolic intersection computation for I = 3. lij (j ∈ {1,2,3}) is a line connecting a seed position chosen from image j with the X-ray source position corresponding to that image. A symbolic intersection PCI is calculated by finding the point with minimum mean square distances from the lines.
