Table 3.

A single pathogen was found in each episode of infection. Gram negative bacteria (GNB) represented the vast majority of pathogens (17 episodes, 77.3%) while S. epidermidis was isolated in only 4 episodes (18.2%). Concomitant blood and urine cultures showed no growth in all patients.
