Extracellular Ca²⁺ ([Ca²⁺]_o)-dependent effects of phenylalanine on [Ca²⁺]_i in intestinal CCK-GFP cells. Cells were treated with 30 mM phenylalanine (circles) or a depolarizing concentration of 50 mM KCl (squares), and [Ca²⁺]_i fluorescence was measured.
