ChREBP knockdown blunts glucose repression of fatty acid oxidation capacity induced by the PPARα specific agonist GW7647 in INS-1E cells. The cells were incubated with 5 or 25 mm glucose for 24 h and then incubated for a further 48 h in 1% serum medium containing 5 or 25 mm glucose and Me₂SO or GW7647 (100 nm).
