INSM2 in human fetal pancreas. Expression of INSM2 (green) is present in the nuclei of most INS+ islet β-cells (red) (A). However, INSM2 is strongly colocalized with SST (red) in the cytoplasm of all D cells (yellow in B) of developing human pancreas. INSM2 is coexpressed with NGN3 (C) or NEUROD1 (D).
