eVLPs induce chemokine and cytokine secretion in murine DCs. DCs were incubated with medium mock control, LPS (10 ng/ml), poly I:C (25 μg/ml), inactivated EBOV (iEBOV) (10 μg/ml or 2 × 106 pfu equivalents), or eVLPs (10 μg/ml) for 24 h. Cell-free supernatants were assayed for levels (pg/ml) of TNF-α (A), MIP-1α (B), IL-6 (C), and IL-10 (D). These results represent five experiments of similar design and outcome.
