(a) Primary cortical neurons from wild-type mice cultured for a week were treated with 3 h of OGD. At the indicated time points after completion of OGD, culture media was collected and analyzed for LDH release as an indicator of cell death. Results are the average of three independent experiments. *, P < 0.05 versus control. (b) Cell extracts were subjected to immunoblotting with antibodies against caspase-1, -3, -8, and -9 and Bid.
