TABLE 2.

Electrical parameters for acid secretion experiments

Shown are the effects of forskolin (10−5 m) on the PD, Isc, and Rt of gastric mucosae from Kir4.1+/+, Kir4.1+/−, and Kir4.1−/− mice before and 30 min after forskolin stimulation. No significant difference in PD, Isc, and Rt was observed at these time points in Kir4.1+/+, Kir4.1+/−, and Kir4.1−/− mice (p < 0.05). The values were calculated from six out of eight experiments with Kir4.1−/− mucosa and a matched Kir4.1+/+ and Kir+/− mucosa for each Kir−/− mucosa. Values are expressed as means ± S.E.
