The top two panels show time-domain waveforms of a sentence in quiet and processed by the RDC spectral-subtractive algorithm respectively. The input sentence was corrupted by babble at 0 dB SNR (same as in Figure 3). Bottom panel shows the frame SNRLESC values (dashed lines) superimposed to the frame SNRLOSS values (solid lines). The average SNRLOSS was 0.86 and the average SNRLESC value was 0.48 (SNRLIM was set to 5 dB).
