Expression of dystrophin-glycoprotein complex components in wild-type, mdx, and mdxLMα1 limb muscles. In wild-type muscle, utrophin (UTR) is expressed at the neuromuscular junction (arrows). In mdx and mdxLMα1 muscle, it is abundantly present along the sarcolemma.
