By day 5, many pillars (arrowheads) arise randomly in the capillary plexus. From day 9 to day 21 pillars reshape, elongate, and fuse, forming small capillary loops (arrows) and thus splitting vascular segments and resulting in the formation of slender, solitary capillary entities. The latter events restore the classical glomerular angioarchitecture.
