Additional SNPs were selected to be genotyped from previous fine mapping studies of 8q24 to provide better coverage of this region. These include two additional SNPs at Region 1, three additional SNPs at region 2, two additional SNPs at Region 3, and 1 SNP centromeric to the risk regions.
