Most pathogens were detected in each of the four major clinical manifestation groups with prevalence being broadly similar. Only Mpp infection was more commonly associated with pneumonia than bronchiolitis and hBoV was more commonly associated with EVW/asthma than bronchiolitis (* p<0.05). Cumulative pathogen prevalence in each of the clinical conditions was greater than 100% because of co-infection.
