Corneal epithelial occludin expression in WT and PLTP KO mice. Compared with normal C57BL/6 mice PLTP KO mice showed significant reduction in occludin expression. Scopolamine blockade also reduces occludin expressions in PLTP KO mice and to a lesser extent in C57BL/6 mice. The measured epithelial anti-occludin fluorescence values were standardized by dividing epithelial fluorescence count with endothelial fluorescence values. *P < 0.05 compared with untreated WT C57BL/6 mice.
