Lrp5+ and Lrp5− (Lin−) cell fractions were purified by flow cytometry, assayed by isograft to mammary fat pads at limiting dilutions, and results were reported as for Table 1. Pairwise comparison of the Lrp+ and Lrp− cells shows that the TIC frequency is significantly different (* p = 2.34×10−5).
