Effect of metalloprotease inhibitor GM6001 on CHO-PCDH12 migration. CHO-PCDH12 and CHO empty vector confluent monolayers were scraped with a sterile cell scraper to create scratch wounds. After injury, the cells were washed and incubated with culture medium in presence of either GM6001 or vehicle alone. The cells were observed with a videomicroscope, and the images were analyzed with ImageJ software to measure cell invasion in the wounded area. A shows CHO-PCDH12 at 48 h after the wound and the addition of Me2SO or GM6001. B shows graphs representing kinetics of wound closure in each condition (n = 9 for each condition).
