The negative ion OzESI-MS spectra of methanolic solutions of (a) GPA(9Z-18:1/9Z-18:1), (b) GPEtn(9Z-18:1/9Z-18:1), (c) GPGro(9Z-18:1/9Z-18:1), (d) GPSer(9Z-18:1/9Z-18:1), (e) GPIns(9Z-18:1/9Z-18:1) and (f) CL(9Z-18:1/9Z-18:1/9Z-18:1/9Z-18:1). The symbols • and ■ identify the ozonolysis product ions as α-methoxyhydroperoxides and aldehydes, respectively. It should be noted that the dioleoyl glycerophospholipids undergo some degree of secondary ozonolysis of both the aldehyde and α-methoxyhydroperoxide ions to form additional product ions most of which fall below the m/z range presented here.
