Tissue distribution and function of 2° effector CD8+ T cells is influenced by the duration of infection. (A) Experimental setup: 1.5 × 104 1° memory OT-I cells were transferred into naïve Thy1.2 hosts prior to infection with 1 × 107 CFU att LM-OVA.
