Administration of β2-adrenergic receptor agonists does not affect jejunal OEA levels in food-deprived rats. The mixed β1/β2-adrenergic receptor agonist, isoproterenol, or the selective β2-adrenergic agonist salbutamol, failed to alter jejunal levels of OEA in food-deprived animals when compared to saline-treated controls.
