Shedding of CD16 is temperature independent. Soluble CD16 was assayed in supernates taken from neutrophils incubated for 90 min at indicated temperatures or treated with PMA (10 ng/mL) for 60 min. The amount of soluble CD16 was determined by sandwich ELISA. Measured OD were recalculated, and results are expressed as percent of control (supernates from PMN incubated at 37°C).
