(A) PPARγ transcriptional activity following expression of JMJD2C, or of each of its domains, in both the absence and presence of Rosiglitazone (1 μM). *p < 0.05. (B) PPARγ transcriptional activity after transfection with expression vectors with JMJD2C or the JmjC and Tudor domains. *p < 0.05, in presence and absence of TSA (100 nM) for each case. U2Os cells were transfected with constructs expressing each domain, and luciferase reactive activity was measured and normalized with β-galactosidase activity. The values are presented as means ± S.E. from at least two independent triplicate assays.
