HBV-Ab17 and HBV-Ab19 were used individually at two concentrations (0.5 and 0.2 mg/ml), or as mixture (Hepex-B™). Human IgG isotype and medium only served as controls. A) Detection of cell-associated IgG γ chain (50 kDa). Both IgG isotype control and IgG anti-HBs show dose-dependent uptake in the cells. B) Detection of HBsAg (24 and 27 kDa). The cellular uptake of specific anti-HBs antibodies leads to dose-dependent increase of HBsAg within the cells in contrast to cell-associated isotype IgG or medium only control.
