RDA-labeled upper lateral lip-ULL (A) and lower lip - LL (B) cells were grafted from stage 11 donor embryos to the same region of unlabeled host embryos. Images I–V show the location of the grafted cells at specific developmental stages. The green circle highlights the location of the blastopore lip at different developmental time points. In each panel a small diagram highlights the position of the labeled cells with respect to the forming midline. Images AI-II and BI-III are from the perspective of the blastopore.
