Fluid flow (KLM) model fits long-term cartilage stress-relaxation data. The KLM model can represent the majority of relaxation data (certainly all relaxation after about 100 seconds) but cannot accurately fit early relaxation. This observation is consistent with previous reports (e.g., [39]). Both the average error (A) and coefficient of determination (B) improve as the KLM model fit is started at later times.
