Data are ranges, with means ± SE and number of measurements in parameters. Human data were obtained from the literature and were measured in venous plasma [2022]. Blood glucose levels are significantly lower in monkeys than in humans. C-peptide levels are significantly higher in monkeys. There is statistically difference regarding HbA1c levels.
